Escravos Gas Plant West Delta
Realization in a very short time (1 year) of the design and realization of a gas production complex with a manufacturer located abroad.
WEST DELTA is a gas contract for the extension of the West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM) project, located 95 km offshore Egypt in the Mediterranean Sea.
The objective is to design, supply and install three production manifolds and three subsea distribution systems.
CTS was therefore involved in the design and design modifications of the equipment, we carried out several designs according to their options, the number of connectors, and their orientations.
CTS was particularly involved in welded equipment, and installation aids such as clamp weights, spreader bars, and access platforms for the installation of subsea equipment. Particular attention had to be paid to the adequacy of the Cost / Time / Quality
INVENTOR 2010/2011, VAULT
The design, definition, and bundling phases before manufacturing are now completed on schedule. The new architectures are currently being manufactured.
The client is very satisfied with the work of the CTS teams on this project and has allowed us to work on other Subsea programs around the world.
The umbilicals (hydraulic lines, electrical cables, and fiber optics) will be produced by a TECHNIP subsidiary in Newcastle (UK), and the flexible pipes by the TECHNIP Group’s plant in Le Trait (France).
Offshore operations have been ongoing since 2011.
